Some Guidances For Selecting Diamond Tooling

Image
Diamond tooling cuts or polishes a concrete surface using one of the hardest materials on Earth, that is diamond grains, a distinct advantage compared to tools that use common abrasives such as corundum and silicon carbide. To achieve the greatest productivity on hard concrete, a soft-bonded diamond needs to be used; conversely, a hard-bonded diamond needs to be used on soft concrete. Bond In order for a grinder to use diamonds to cut, small chips of diamonds are suspended in a bond made from metal, resin, carbides, hybrid or mixed-resin (a blend of both resin and metal bonds) or polycrystalline PCD. Metal bonded diamond tools  are ideal for removing brittle adhesives Hybrid transitional diamond tools  are ideal for removing tacky adhesives, leaving a smooth finish and no damage to concrete PCD removal tools  are ideal for removing epoxy coatings, adhesives, leveling compounds or membranes and quite popular because they are so aggressive   Segment Segment refers...

Features of Resin Bond Abrasive Tools

Image
High bonding strength The resin bond has higher bonding strength than the ceramic bond, and the mechanical strength of the made abrasive tool is higher than that of the ceramic abrasive tool. It can be used at higher speeds, can withstand greater grinding pressure, and is relatively safe to operate. Therefore, it is widely used in rough grinding processes in steel, automotive bearings, chemical machinery, construction and other industries. Have a certain degree of flexibility Resin is a polymer compound, and it has certain toughness and elastic deformation to buffer the grinding pressure, so the grinding effect is good. And it can improve the surface processing quality of the workpiece due to its good polishing effect. Wide range of applications With the emergence of new resins, resin abrasive tools with various strengths and properties can be made, which can be used as abrasive tools for barren grinding, rough grinding, cutting, semi-finishing, fine grinding and polishing. Abrasive t...

The Discovery of Concrete Floor

In the autumn of 1958, experts from the Cultural Relics Department of Gansu Province carried out a cultural relic survey in Tianshui City of Qin'an. In the suburbs northeast of the county seat, archaeologists heard from local residents that they would often dig out broken pottery pieces or even complete pots here. Therefore, the experts carefully surveyed and excavated the area, they found several tombs and house ruins, and also unearthed some jade pieces, clay pots and a large number of animal remains. After scientific appraisal, experts determined that this is a Neolithic site of human life which was about 4900-8120 years ago, and named it "Dadiwan Site". Afterwards, in order to better protect and study information of the site, experts carried out in-depth excavations about seven years. At the same time they unearthed "six firsts", which were the early Chinese crop; the first Chinese Purple-red painted pottery; the original prototype of Chinese characters whic...
