How to Maintain the Concrete Floor?

Image
The maintenance of the concrete floor actually includes two aspects: one is the maintenance of the concrete floor during construction, and the other is the maintenance of the concrete floor in normal use. TransGrindtools can provide with  suitable   diamond impregnated pads   at every stage of the concrete floor maintenance and help to complete the job efficiently and successfully. ①: Maintenance during concrete floor construction. Qualified materials must be used for concrete floor construction. When pouring the concrete floor, vibrating equipment must be used to vibrate the ground concrete in place. After the concrete is finally set, the surface should be matted in time, and the grass curtain should be used for curing. During the maintenance period, water should be sprayed in time to ensure that the indoor floor is moist, and this should be maintained for one to two weeks. In this way, a good concrete floor can be made. ②: The usual maintenance of concrete floors. Regarding the norma

How to Polish Concrete Floor?

There are many different types of polished concrete finishes, and the main polishing process includes four specific steps. Choosing the Right Tooling Before the concrete polishing process begins, a floor hardness test is necessary to determine which diamond tooling we should start with. Once the proper tooling has been determined, we begin the concrete polishing process by placing the appropriate diamond tooling on our grinder.   Diamond tooling come in varying hardnesses. That means if the concrete is super hard then an extra soft diamond is used to start the process. And for concrete that is extremely soft, it would require an extra hard diamond. If you use an extra soft diamond on extremely soft concrete, the diamond would simply be too aggressive for the concrete and wear down. If you used a hard diamond on extremely hard concrete, it would not be aggressive enough to remove any of the concrete. Concrete Grinding If there is an epoxy or glue on the floor, the process becomes a litt

The Components of Diamond Tooling

Bond The bond is one of the most important components of diamond tooling. When the diamond tooling are made, the top surface of the diamonds are covered with the bond. There are two main ways that diamonds are integrated into diamond tooling:  resin bond diamond tools  and  metal bond diamond tools . The difference between them is the bond used to secure the diamonds into the surface of the tooling. The bond must hold the diamonds on the tooling surface. However, the bond must gradually and evenly wear away so that new diamonds are exposed to the surface as the surface diamonds dull. Grit Grit is the metric for describing how coarse or fine the diamond tooling is. When dealing with diamond tooling, the grit is determined by several factors, including the size of the diamonds and the arrangement of the diamonds. If the diamonds are larger and have greater gaps between them, the tool will tend to have a coarser grit. On the other hand, smaller diamonds with small gaps between them will p
